An exercise in luminosity, rhythm and restrained ornamentation.
Luce is created in pleated ivory silk satin, allowing light to travel continuously across the surface of the gown. An elevated under-bust line lengthens the silhouette while establishing a natural transition between the precisely pleated bodice and the flowing volume beneath. Across this foundation, irregular bands of glittered geometric lace appear between the pleats. Each section of lace is individually cut and positioned by hand rather than applied as a continuous surface. The irregular placement allows moments of brilliance to emerge unexpectedly as the wearer moves, creating luminosity without overwhelming the purity of the ivory silk. The sleeves extend into generous bell-shaped forms, embroidered by hand and intentionally left soft and fluid. Their movement provides a counterpoint to the disciplined vertical rhythm of the pleating.
