An exploration of light, movement and sculptural volume, rendered in silk duchesse. Celeste begins with an extraordinary expanse of silk duchesse, transformed through a graduated spectrum that moves almost imperceptibly from luminous pale grey into ethereal cerulean blue. Rather than relying upon conventional construction, the gown is conceived as a composition of individually articulated forms. Overlapping panels emerge across the voluminous skirt in a rhythm reminiscent of unfurling leaves, creating depth and movement that continuously changes as the wearer moves. The bodice is shaped by hand using the traditional moulage technique, allowing the fabric to be sculpted directly upon the mannequin. Each fold is deliberately positioned to capture and release light, revealing subtle variations within the degradé coloration. The result is a gown that appears simultaneously architectural and weightless - an expression of couture in which color, structure and movement become inseparable.
