Imperia is constructed to command space. The gown is fashioned from coated mikado chosen specifically for its sculptural character and its ability to preserve extraordinary volume. Across the expansive skirt, cones of varying dimensions descend asymmetrically along the silhouette. Their deliberate rigidity interrupts the expected softness of eveningwear, transforming the garment into an almost architectural object. Asymmetric ruching is introduced between these structures, creating tension between disciplined geometry and controlled disorder. The straight-cut bodice continues this language through overlapping mikado formations arranged into sculptural waves. The draping is developed through moulage, allowing the volume to be shaped directly upon the form. A coordinating shoulder structure completes the composition, with two sculptural cones echoing the geometry of the skirt. Imperia does not merely surround the body; it changes the space the body occupies.
