A dialogue between structure and fluidity.
Onda is constructed as two distinct elements whose opposing characters create a single architectural silhouette. The upper structure is fashioned from coated mikado, selected for its ability to retain sculptural form. Its controlled rigidity gives the garment an almost molded quality, while two superimposed layers of hand-pleated silk organza introduce softness, dimension and movement. At the neckline, the contrasting materials converge into a sculptural bow - not simply an embellishment, but a continuation of the garment's structural language. Below, a long straight skirt is constructed from silk organza individually pleated into a specially developed diamond geometry. The precision of the pattern transforms traditional pleating into a contemporary engineered surface whose appearance changes with movement and light. Onda expresses a central idea of Elite Coterie: craftsmanship not as nostalgia, but as a means of creating forms that feel entirely new.
